Growing up, Jess' grandmother always displayed her 'prized plates' on the wall in the kitchen. Her grandfather fashioned plate displays out of metal for her to hang them on and he would meticulously hang each one to attach to a small metal piece that was affixed to the wall (god-forbid they ever fell). Each one, perfectly placed to display its porcelain purity. Since Jess's grandmother is a Louisiana native, the Orlean is named for this loving memory.
Orlean is a porcelain shade made exclusively for Triple Seven. Heavy gauged brass and a simple hand-blown glass orb adorn this sconce.
