Note from Jess

Hello everyone! I just wanted to jump on and let you know our new way of light making and thank you for your endless support for Triple Seven Home. What started in my garage in 2009 by rewiring a vintage lamp, turned into this amazing business- creating and designing things I love. I have a very small and extraordinary team that I love and support in every way and they part of the reason Triple Seven is what it is today. With that being said, when we first released our new site in February, we wanted to only offer collections of limited lighting. Batches of curated pieces that are only offered in quantities of 10-30. Porcelain, wood pieces, metals - keeping it fresh and ever changing. But, we knew with the long await of our new site, you guys wanted some older models and some new fun stuff we created and we haven’t slowed down since - because you guys are beyond awesome. With all our of amazing customers and talented designers that we have worked with, it turned into something bigger, better, and wonderful. While I am truly grateful for each and every opportunity that we have worked so incredibly hard for, the honest truth is plan and simple: we want to minimize. We want our artistic energy to go into small batch collections. I am choosing to see this as an excellent opportunity to not only focus on myself and my health, my family, and our team; but to focus on my passion.

So, we are doing it! Over the next few months we will be transitioning into a new way of creating here. We will only be offering limited editions and runs of our designs with quantities of 10-30. Each piece will be numbered and signed. We will be working even more closely with our small business owned, phenomenal (they're truly the very best bunch of people) vendors, who contribute some key parts of our work. Taking that energy and designing what we love at a minimum is what I need. It’s what you need. We are not a mass manufacturer and we do not ever want to be. When starting Triple Seven, it was meant for small collections of handcrafted lighting. Offering only a batch and making a new design once those were sold out. I know some of you will be bummed and I am sorry for that. But, we think you will be pleased with the new stuff.  This new limited collections will have ready to ship lighting, no lead times, parts that are solely made by our hands or our vendors.  This will leave room to work on customized lighting for designers too!

Good news (this is all good news, actually) is that we will still be here, the team is still here, our website isn’t disappearing, I am not closing our store - we are simply downsizing (studio + inventory wise) and creating more thoughtful and hopefully sought out pieces; that’s it!

The team is very excited about this new way of creating. Creating some gorgeous one-of-a kind pieces that will range in quantities of 10 to 30 and on to a new collection. This keeps it organic and our design minds flowing.   We will keep a few of our flush mounts and sconces (that are/will always be a classic staple) and the limit on those will not be tapped. Working with some new creative people (very happy about this) and we will be doing a lot more porcelain items and working directly with the husband and husband duo that make up the NC porcelain shop, Powder Studio. They are the Kings of Porcelain and we love creating with them so look out for some fresh things soon.

So….when is this happening?? Starting late June, we will be doing a huge purge of lighting. New stuff, old stuff, some with quantities of 1 to 25, some funky colors, some second shelf/sale stuff, etc. August 1, 2020 we will transition to collections of limited items and new items. So, get what you have an eye on now! I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for being here, thank you for the business, thank you from the bottom of my heart, and Thank you for allowing me to create. We can’t wait to show you what’s next.

All the light and love,
